Venti Vanilla Latte anyone?  Once again, Event Planner Doris Dwek and Jersey Street work their magic and created an awesome Starbucks coffee house theme for Rose and Elliot’s Bridal Shower.  It took place at their home in Brooklyn as many of the rooms were used for the event. We created custom awnings with Rose and Elliot’s logo.  In the living room, they opened up their gifts so we created an area with a love seat and awning for them for their comfort. On the kitchen island there were three oversized coffee mugs on display with floral inside, and the back room of the house was changed into a coffee shop where we had a logo bar with awning and wood tables for everyone to eat. Later, the guests moved to the dining room for dessert with large coffee cups with all the desserts displayed.   In the outside area we set up a clear tent – where we had more awnings and we made upholstered counter tops for the food stations.  It was the perfect setting for everyone to hang out and relax!

Dani’s purple, silver and white themed Bat Mitzvah took place at Cedar Hill Country Club. Event Planner Dayna Platnick, Jersey Street Furniture, and Where Flowers Bloom  all teamed up to make the party a huge success.   At the entrance there was a fun manzanita branch with the place cards hanging from the branches.  This was very unique and fun. Jamie K took lots of candid pictures and we can see how much fun the crowd was having while Untouchable Events got everyone rocking on the dance floor.    The room was filled with purple couches with logo’d pillows along with a lavender metallic tufted bar.  The adult tables were both formica and sheered fabric with circular ribbon.  Also, there were fun silver hologram fabric ottomans.  Overall, the decor was very fashionable and cool.

Club MB 2012 was the theme for Morris’ Bar Mitzvah which was held at the Sephardic Temple Torah Israel in Brooklyn.  At the entrance was a red carpet with large metal letters on pedestals with his initials MB.  Jersey Street teamed up with Event Planner Doris Dwek for this event.  The colors of the lounge area were red, white and black.  An illuminated stage was built around the customized logo’d dance floor and a structure was created above where we hung red and white slinkies.  The couches and tables were upholstered in a red “wet look” and white booths were used for seating. The coffee tables also were red with metal M’s at the base. Altogether the room was trendy with a modern vibe.  Pure Energy consistently works their magic and energizes the crowd all night long.

As I write my next blog for Jersey Street, it’s hard to believe that my daughter Casey Rae became a Bat Mitzvah on Thursday, April 5th at The Grove.  The service and luncheon was held during the day followed by a night party.  A big THANK YOU to Tom from Jersey Street for creating spectacular bouquets and centerpieces. The bouquets placed on each side of the platform were high and made of dogwood, purple hydrangea, and purple larkspur.  The centerpieces for the luncheon were made of antique lavender roses, purple tulips, hydrangea, lisianthus, and wax flower. THE NIGHT PARTY—Jersey Street was UNBELIEVABLE from start to finish.   The Grand Ballroom was converted into a stylish and sophisticated night club.  Casey’s colors were purple, silver and a touch of lime green.  The kids area was covered in grey carpet with purple velvet couches, ottomans, day beds and high top tables dispersed all around with a variety of white leather logo’d pillows atop. The tables had metallic linens with lava lamps while the adults had grey furry linens with floral and votives.   The back wall was draped in purple velvet with large metal letters in front that spelled CASEY.  Jersey Street built two bars.  One was located in the kids lounge and was white with the purple  “C” logo with a large blown up collage of Casey in the background, and the other was a metallic tufted square bar centered in the room for the adults. Gregg Mistretta from Pure Energy rocked the dance floor and the crowd danced all night on the floor and in the cages.  The entire night was captured by Jamie K Photography. The night heartily exceeded our expectations.

Isabel’s Bat Mitzvah took place at The Loft 350 located at The Wilshire Grand Hotel. It was a magnificent Winter Wonderland theme.  The room was filled with white and light blue colors with lots of silver accents.  Chris Jorda took pictures of the well-crafted room as it was transformed into a true wintry feeling.  Jerry Rose did all the floral which were all white with branches for the centerpieces.  Jersey Street created a lounge setting for the kids with a light blue carpeted area, and the white and silver furniture was topped with really cool metallic CHILLIN’ logo’d pillows.  In the adult area, there were white linen with crystal chandeliers that we hung above each table, and the floral and candles were under each chandelier.  Lastly, we wrapped the dance floor in white and hung pictures of Isabel on one of the walls. The entire room was draped in white and up lit in blue. It was truly a Winter Wonderland!

TV One hosted an exclusive star-studded luncheon with a special performance by grammy award-winning Ne-Yo at Cipriani’s in NYC on 3.20.12. This was their annual Advertising Luncheon Event and Presentation where the network unveils their “Upfront” programming plans for the 2012-2013 season.  Jersey Street teamed up with event coordinator Teresa A. Lee from Rex & Regina Events to design an incredible layout of the space.  Jersey Street Furniture draped the walls, laid down carpet and filled the room with all different white couches topped with orange pillows.  Photo credits go to Greg Blakey and Clifton Cloud from Star Group Productions did an incredible job with all the lighting of the room.  Check out some pictures from this outstanding event!

Jordyn’s Bat Mitzvah celebration took place at the elegant Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne, NJ.  Jersey Street recreated the modern ballroom into a trendy lilac and silver themed club.  The purple lit room was filled with lilac metallic couches, ottomans, custom logo’d pillows and tables. Pictures of Jordyn were enlarged and hung along the back of the kid lounge area and crystals hung from the ceiling above the dance floor to give it a stylish look. In the adult area in front of the metallic bar we had three highboys covered in a silver long hair fabric.  Jamie K Photography was present to capture the the crowd dancing and partying while MC Brian from Pure Energy played awesome songs all night long.

Last Saturday night live on stage at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair featured COBY’S BAR MITZVAH.  This historic theater built in 1922 recently reopened as a cutting edge concert venue.  Jersey Street Furniture along with Some Fine Party were instrumental in creating a state of the art scene for the rock and roll/guns and roses kind of vibe.  Coby was dressed in all black attire and was ready to rock his party. It was a typical concert evening as the adult guests upon arrival received their seating from the will call booth and the kids had their own VIP laminate giving them access right into the theater.  After entering the theater, the kids went upstairs for the cocktail hour where they were served food from the concession stand, and the adults went to the top tier for theirs which was all catered by ENCORE.  Later they switched locations and the kids went to the top tier to party in their lounge!  The area was filled with eden ottomans with skull head fabric and crystal skull heads placed on tiers. The tables were filled with three different centerpieces – one was a black candelabra with black magic roses on the stem of the candelabra with floral and votives at the base, the 2^nd  was an undulating chain that we created and fabricated with pillars, florals and votives surround, and the 3^rd were tumbling boxes that we created and fabricated with flowers, silver balls, and mirror votives. They were all unique and incredible! Another amazing feature was the dance floor wrapped in Coby’s logo.  Shine Entertainment was the dj who had the crowd rocking to tunes all night and Andy Foster Photography took incredible pictures of this amazing event.

This event was a beautiful bridal shower that took place at their home in Deal, New Jersey.  Doris Dwek was the party planner who teamed up with Jersey Street Furniture to create an fun room filled with cool things.  The room was designed with lots of glittering colors. The bride to be, Jacqueline has a passion for slurpees. Who needs 7-11 when you have Jersey Street?  They got creative and designed a huge slurpee cup and straw with the colors turquoise, lime and raspberry which represented her favorite slurpee flavors.  Jersey Street made new tables which were painted with all the bright colors.  A stage was built with big 60” high initials J and A (Jacqueline and Alfonse) placed on both sides of the blue eden ottoman topped with logo’d pillows.  It was the perfect place for Jacqueline to open up all her bridal gifts. The women all enjoyed sharing Jacqueline’s special day.  Stay tuned for the wedding…
